Only one BPSH establishment remains open in Kyiv.
The Ukrainian restaurant chain Gastro Family has closed two street food establishments, BPSH, in the center of Kyiv. These locations are on Antonovych Street and on Velika Vasylkivska Street, near the Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Maidan of Independence).
The owner of the company, Elena Borisova, explained that the reason for the closure was a decrease in the number of visitors. According to her, a significant number of offices in the area have moved, and there is virtually no foot traffic from tourists and students. The establishments were opened with the expectation of a large pedestrian flow, which is a key condition of the BPSH business model.
Olena Borisova noted that the company invested a total of 200,000 euros in these two locations. One of the establishments on Khreshchatyk Street was a Gastro Family project, while the other, on Antonovych Street, operated under a franchise.
As of October 30, 2026, only one BPSH facility remained open in Kyiv — located in Podil. In comparison, in November 2022, the capital had ten establishments of this network. However, Gastro Family does not plan to close other restaurants before winter and a possible decrease in demand.
