A unit of Lasar’s Group of the National Guard of Ukraine destroyed a Russian multiple rocket launcher "Smersh" and its transport-loading vehicle. The complex was discovered in a shelter at approximately 60 km from the front line after analyzing the enemy's fire activity.

The results of the operation were reported by the commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, Alexander Pivненко. According to him, the destruction of the complex took place in several stages. Initially, analysts from the intelligence service studied the enemy's fire activity and identified the likely location of the complex.
Later, aerial reconnaissance detected equipment in a concealed location approximately 60 km from the front line. After confirming the targets, strike teams from the unit carried out a series of attacks.
The РСЗВ "Smertch" is a Soviet and Russian multiple rocket launcher with a caliber of 300 mm, designed to target personnel, armored vehicles, artillery, command posts, and fortifications.
