YASNO establishes an energy independence fund for up to 100 million euros
The YASNO company, with the support of international partners, is creating an energy independence fund with a total value of up to 100 million euros. The funds will be invested in solar power generation and energy storage systems for Ukrainian customers.
YASNO, a company that supplies electricity and natural gas, plans to complete the creation of the energy independence fund by the end of the current year. According to the company's general director, Sergei Kovalenko, the fund's budget will amount to up to 100 million euros.
Funds from international partners, including financial institutions, will be invested in solar power generation and energy storage projects. The equipment installed as part of these projects will be available to customers under a lease agreement.
Serhiy Kovalenko noted that the fund's partners will receive a small financial profit, but their main goal is to help Ukrainian businesses increase their energy independence and energy efficiency. The names of the partners will not be disclosed until the fund is officially established.
