Air quality has deteriorated in Vyshneve and Brovary.

As of October 23, low and moderate levels of air pollution with fine particulate matter have been recorded in Vyshneve and Brovary, in the Kyiv region. Residents are advised to limit their time outdoors and to keep windows closed.

As of morning October 23, temporary deterioration of air quality has been observed in Vyshneve and Brovary, in the Kyiv region.

According to KОВА, the level of air pollution with fine particulate matter ranges from low to moderate. Weather conditions, including rain and moderate winds, contribute to air purification, but this process is uneven. At the same time, high humidity and cloud cover slow down the dispersion of pollutants.

In areas affected by recent shelling and smoke, fine particulate matter may remain in the air for longer. Experts recommend closing windows, limiting prolonged time spent outdoors, drinking plenty of water, and, if available, using an air purifier on the highest setting.

Children, elderly individuals, and those sensitive to irritants should be particularly cautious. In other settlements in the Kyiv region, there have been no recorded exceedances of the permissible levels of chemical and biological substances in the air. The level of gamma radiation in the region is within the normal range. Monitoring of air quality continues.
