Kyiv Zoo will treat elephant Khuras to pumpkins this weekend, October 31 and November 1.

The demonstration feeding of the largest resident of the capital's zoo will begin at 12:00. КП «Kyiv Zoo» reported that pumpkin treats will activate the animal's research, play, and feeding activity.

The zoo emphasizes that enriching the environment is important for the well-being of the animals, and observing the feeding provides additional impressions for visitors.

In the event of an air raid warning, the demonstration feeding will be suspended and resumed after the warning is lifted. Visitors are urged to monitor the warning signals and, in the event of a warning, to seek shelter.

Entry to the zoo grounds is permitted until 15:00, and visitors can stay until 16:30. Ticket booths are open from 12:00 to 15:00 on Mondays, and from 10:00 to 15:00 from Tuesday to Sunday.

"Pumpkin Weekends" at KyivZoo began at the beginning of October. Previously, seasonal treats were available for gorillas, lions, tigers, hyenas, bears, raccoons, and otters.
