In Kyiv, traffic on the Northern Bridge has been partially restored after a technical inspection. Traffic is now flowing in one lane from left to right for passenger transport, and in two lanes from right to left for passenger transport and cars. The possibility of implementing reversible traffic on the Paton Bridge is also being considered.
In Kyiv, the Northern Bridge was partially reopened today. This was possible after scientists conducted a technical inspection of the structure and authorized the resumption of traffic with temporary restrictions.
Currently, traffic is organized as follows: from the left bank to the right bank – with one lane, exclusively for passenger transport. From the right bank to the left bank – with two lanes for passenger transport and cars. As a result, traffic on the Northern Bridge has been restored for buses.
Experts are also working to introduce a reversible traffic flow on the Paton Bridge in the coming days, in order to increase its capacity. The city authorities will provide further information on the implementation of reversible traffic and its organization through official channels.
