On the night of October 19, Russia launched a massive attack on Kyiv, using ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as drones. According to Ukrainian sources, partners did not warn Ukraine about this attack. This was reported by Radio Svoboda journalist Alex Raufogl.

Previously, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stated that for three days, including 12, 13, and partially October 14, Ukraine had not received information about Russian ballistic attacks. According to him, the United States is the only source providing Ukraine with information about the launches of Russian ballistic missiles.

As a result of the nighttime attack on Kyiv on October 19, a 21-year-old girl died, and three other people were injured. In the Solomyan district, fragments of a rocket struck the first floor of a 25-story residential building, as well as a medical facility and infrastructure along the metro line.
