On Prorizna Street, the dead plane trees have been replaced.

In Kyiv, on Prorizna Street, seven damaged plane trees were replaced. These trees were not recovering after difficult weather conditions. Instead, Freeman maples were planted. Kyivzelenbud noted that similar damage to trees was observed on many streets in the capital this spring, due to strong frosts and late frosts.

Seven plane trees on Prorizna Street in Kyiv were replaced because they were unable to recover after unfavorable weather conditions.

According to Kyivzelenbud, all of the plane trees on the street were damaged due to severe winter frosts and late spring frosts that occurred after the leaves had already sprouted. Despite the measures taken by experts to restore the trees, seven of them were unable to recover.

At the site where the plane trees died, employees of the Шевchenkovsky district branch of the КП УЗН (municipal utility company) planted seven Freeman maples. Київзеленбуд (Kyiv's greening department) stated that this is a necessary replanting, required to preserve the greenery on the street.

The department also noted that similar damage to trees was observed not only on Prorizna Street, but also on other streets in the city. The combination of strong frosts and late frosts after the start of the growing season posed a serious challenge to urban vegetation.
