In the Bucha district of the Kyiv region, police discovered mobile phones containing child pornography and a drug substance in a 33-year-old man. The suspect had previously been convicted of crimes related to drugs. He faces a sentence of up to six years in prison.
In the Bucha district of the Kyiv region, law enforcement officers discovered and seized mobile phones from a 33-year-old man that contained photos and videos of a pornographic nature featuring children.
During the search of the suspect's residence, a package containing a drug was also found.
According to investigators, the man was downloading child pornography materials from the internet and storing them on his mobile devices. It is known that he had already been held accountable for acquiring and distributing prohibited substances.
Currently, the man has been informed of suspicion under Article 1 of Part 301-1 and Article 2 of Part 309 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The court has chosen a pre-trial detention measure for him, with the alternative of posting bail. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted under the operational supervision of employees of the Department of Migration Police of the Main Department of the National Police in the Kyiv region.
