According to preliminary information, the poisoning was caused by the use of a generator in a basement room. As a result, three people died: a man born in 1978, a woman born in 1986, and a girl born in 2010.

Another injured person – a 2010-born boy – survived and was hospitalized at a children's hospital. There is currently no information available about the condition of the hospitalized teenager.

The State Emergency Service emphasizes that generators are strictly prohibited from being installed and used in residential buildings, basements, garages, and other enclosed spaces.
