A modern green zone has appeared on Bessarab Square in Kyiv
A modern green zone in the New Wave style has been created in the center of Kyiv, on Bessarab Square. Instead of traditional annual flowerbeds, over 2600 perennial plants have been planted here, including gaillardia, echinacea, lavender, and cereal crops. "Kyivzelenbud" notes that such compositions are not only aesthetic, but also contribute to the support of urban biodiversity.
A modern green zone, in the New Wave style, has appeared on Bessarab Square in the center of the capital. Landscapers have transformed a plot of 253 square meters into a natural space, where instead of classic annual flowerbeds, perennial plants will now grow.
A mix of flowering plants and cereals was selected for the new location. Among them are gaillardia, echinacea, perovskia, lavender, catmint, valerian, and licorice, as well as decorative cereals: phalaris, broom, miscanthus, and wheat. A total of over 2600 plants have been planted.
According to "Kyivgreen," these durable compositions are both aesthetically pleasing and help support urban biodiversity. A flower bed in the New Wave style was previously created in Solomyan.
