Kyiv: Prospekt Sobornosti will be under construction until November 5, and traffic will be partially restricted.
From October 10 to November 5 in the Dnieper district of Kyiv, traffic on Sobornosti Avenue will be partially restricted due to road surface repairs. Work on the section from the Mikils'kyy overpass to the intersection with the Dnieper Embankment will be carried out in stages in both directions, without a complete closure. Drivers are advised to plan alternative routes in advance.
In the Дніpro district of Kyiv, from October 10 to November 5, traffic on Sobornosti Avenue will be partially restricted due to road surface repairs. This was announced by the Kyiv City State Administration.
The asphalt surface will be repaired on a section from the Mykilska railway overpass to the intersection with the Dnipro embankment, in the direction of the Paton Bridge. The work will be carried out by the Dnipro Road Maintenance Department.
Road workers will work in stages in both directions, so there will be no complete closure of the avenue. The "Kyiv Automobile Directorate" urged drivers to take the restrictions into account when planning their route and noted that delays on certain sections are possible throughout the entire repair period.
Promenade Sobornosti leads to the Paton Bridge – one of the key bridges between the right and left banks, so the restrictions will affect not only residents of the Dniprovsky district, but also drivers passing through. The repair is part of the municipal services' autumn campaign to update the asphalt surface before the cold weather: "Kyiv Automobile Directorate" traditionally tries to complete major and patching repairs of roads before the persistent frosts, when it is technologically impossible to lay new surface.
