Kyiv: Water pressure decreases on the right bank — disruptions possible in five districts

In Kyiv, the water pressure on the right bank has decreased — disruptions in supplying water are possible in the Sviatoshyn, Solomyansky, Шевchenkovsky, Holosiiv, and Pechersky districts. «Kyivvodokanal» is not stating the reasons or the timeframe for restoration; residents are advised to collect water from public taps. Also, the reception of sewage has been restored, so water supply to the Vyshhorod and Borshchiv communities is being restored.

In Kyiv, the water pressure in the water supply networks on the right bank has decreased, which may lead to temporary interruptions in water supply to individual buildings. This was reported by the Kyiv City Administration, citing «Kyivvodokanal».

Disruptions are being observed in the Sviatoshyn, Solomyansky, Шевchenkovsky, Holosiiv, and Pechersky districts. Experts are taking measures to restore stable water supply; the reasons for the decrease in pressure and the timeframe for restoration have not been specified in the report. Residents can collect drinking water from public taps, the locations of the nearest taps can be checked on the «Kyivvodfondu» map.

Previously, due to the shutdown of facilities at "Kyivvodokanal," the temporary acceptance of sewage from the Borshchiv community and Vyshorod to the Kyiv sewage network was stopped, which affected the drainage and water supply of these communities. The timeline for restoration was not announced at the time.

Later, "Kyivvodokanal" resumed accepting sewage, according to the Borshchiv village council. The water supply in the Borshchiv community is being restored gradually, which will take time; water supply has also been restored in Vyshorod.
