Kyiv City Express is returning to its regular schedule.

The Kyiv City Express circular railway will operate according to the standard schedule starting October 19. The company states that it is prepared to quickly respond to any potential issues with the bridges, and is adding routes during peak hours.

Starting October 19, the Kyiv City Express circular train is returning to its regular schedule. Railway workers have tested the updated schedule in Kyiv and achieved a punctuality rate of over 80%, even taking into account safety evacuations and delays.

The company announced that in the event of any difficulties with the movement of vehicles between the left and right banks, Kyiv City Express will be ready to quickly activate the backup system. The current schedule of regular circular train routes is available on the official website kyivcityexpress.uz.gov.ua, and tickets can still be purchased through the Ukrzaliznytsia application.

The return to the regular schedule became possible after railway operators tested the updated route scheme in the city and achieved a punctuality rate of over 80%. This level allowed the company to discontinue the additional shuttle services and return to the usual operation of the ring, while maintaining a contingency plan in case of further difficulties with the bridges.

Previously, the Kyiv City Express service connected both sides of Kyiv, even despite nighttime attacks on the Southern Bridge, when traffic chaos arose due to damage to infrastructure. Also, several routes were temporarily suspended in the capital due to planned maintenance work on the tracks.
