Kyiv City Administration: "Green" line of Kyiv metro did not stop, part of ground transportation suspended
The Kyiv City Administration refuted information circulating on social media about the stoppage of the "green" line of the Kyiv metro. On the Syretsko-Pecherska line, during peak hours, a temporary schedule is in effect due to restrictions on the Southern Bridge – only one train can travel across it at a time. Due to the lack of electricity, some ground transportation has been temporarily suspended in the Obolon, Podil, and Sviatoshyn districts.
The Kyiv City State Administration stated that the information circulating on social media about the alleged stoppage of trains on the "green" metro line due to power outages is false. According to the Kyiv City Administration, the Syretsko-Pecherska line currently operates on a temporary special schedule during morning and evening peak hours due to restrictions on the Southern Bridge: only one metro train can travel across the bridge at a time. During other times, trains operate in the normal mode.
At the same time, due to the lack of electricity in the energy system, some public transportation has been temporarily suspended in the Obolon, Podil, and Sviatoshyn districts of the city.
