Traffic accident in the Obukhiv region: eight people were injured.
On November 6, a traffic accident involving a bus and a Daewoo Lanos car occurred on the Kyiv-Znamyanka highway in the village of Khodosivka. Eight people were injured in the accident, including the driver of the car and seven passengers of the bus, ranging in age from 29 to 71 years. The police of Kyiv Oblast are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
A traffic accident occurred on November 6 at the 23th kilometer of the Kyiv-Znamyanka highway in the village of Khodosivka, Obukhiv district.
According to preliminary information from law enforcement, a 63-year-old bus driver, Bogdan, while making a turning maneuver, failed to yield to a Daewoo Lanos vehicle traveling in the opposite direction, resulting in a collision.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the car and seven passengers of the bus, aged between 29 and 71 years, were injured. They were taken to a medical facility.
Investigators from the Obukhiv branch of the police have launched a pre-trial investigation into the incident of violating traffic safety rules, which resulted in moderate injuries to the victims (Article 1 of Part 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The circumstances of the incident are being established.
